Champlain - hole by hole

A good opening par 5 awaits with a wide fairway and a well protected small green.

A short uphill par three with a small but deep sand trap on the left side front of green. Stay below the pin.

Be careful on your second shot. A stream crosses the entire fairway 50 yards from this elevated small rounded green. Don't be long!

Lots of room behind this green. Better long than short, but if you go long, be carefull chipping back as the green slopes towards the pond in front.

A good tee shot will leave you in a wide landing area, to a very flat green. A breather hole.

Wide fairway but an angled small green protected by trees and a shallow trap on the right side. Choose the right club for your second shot.

A very interesting par 3. Hit the ball inside the perimeter of the green and a par or better awaits. Longer than it looks.

A well-placed tee shot is needed or a tough second shot may have to be your best of the day. Be aware of the pin position.

Let out the shaft and a short approach shot waits. Big green but well trapped.

Hit it again and again. Long par 5 with a green that is interestingly shaped. A good test of your putting skills.

Accuracy is of most importance. Hitting to a narrow but long green surrounded by traps on both sides.

Slightly left of the tee will give you a good angle into the green and keep the drainage ditch out of play.

A good tee shot could get you close to the end of the fairway with a short shot left to the well protected green.

Lots of room off the tee and another unprotected but small green

The sleeper. Don't get caught napping here. A good putting stroke is important.

Distance and accuracy is important off this tee. The green is farther than it looks on your second shot due to a slight depression in front of the green.

No need for a driver here. 170 yards tee shot in the middle is all you need, but your second shot will have to be excellent to this tricky small flattop green. Better short than long.

Dogleg left but no need to cut the corner here. A good tee shot will leave you with a short approach. Lots of traps but they should not be in play.
