Les Vieux Moulins golf course is located at the north side of Aylmer. This
area is the highest point of land in Aylmer which gives the golfer spectacular
views of the Ottawa river and surrounding area. The golf course has been cut out
of densely treed areas and with the undulating terrain provides the player with
an exceptional layout that will challenge all types of players.
Some of the finest features of Les Vieux Moulins are the beautiful man made
ponds. Cut out of solid rock, the ponds are then lined with the large rocks
removed from the center giving the golfer beautiful, all natural hazards to
negotiate. Windmills will be situated at all of the ponds which will generate
the power to the fountains.
