Overview:

The OttawaGolf Match Play Competitions provide a great opportunity for amateur golfers to experience a fun and competitive elimination tournament. It was started by the golfers in our forum in 2009 and we are continuing the tradition again this year. The competition is free to enter!

The Match Play events run concurrently over the course of the golf season. The events will begin in mid May and the schedule for rounds determined by the number of players who play. 

This year we will begin by accepting 32 Singles for a 5 round competition. Once we reach this number of players we will continue to accept sign ups on a provisional basis. If we reach more than 50% of the number to fill the next round, a round will be added to the event. Byes will be randomly inserted if we are short a few players.
